Paul the Apostle’s prayer for the Ephesian church was, “that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith; that they, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:18-19). God’s perfect love for us is revealed in the person of Jesus Christ. Yet, how little we know about our Savior. Peter’s last words ever penned were, “grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). The desire of our Lord is that we know Him.
