There is a common question that plagues the mind of many: “What does God desire for my life”? As we seek to discover the answer to this complex question, we may find that we are looking in all of the wrong places. The Bible tells us that God’s commandments are not burdensome (1 John 5:3). We must not over complicate God and His desire for our lives. God simply desires obedience from each and every one of us. Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22). Future blessings are contingent upon our present obedience. Is obedience an option?
