Crusade MusiciansREBIRTH
Rebirth awakens the spirit with rhythm & soul. Numbed by the typical acoustic guitar worship
frenzy, Shane Ries (son of Raul Ries, pastor of Calvary Chapel Golden Springs)
is the founder and producer of this worship collaboration. Covering worship songs, Rebirth quickly
gained notoriety and success through the Calvary Chapel ministries. Mixing styles of Jazz and Hip Hop, they bring
the sound of Neo-Soul to the forefront of Christian music. With their current
lineup of Sandra Stephen's (lead vocals), Shane Ries (producer & gutarist),
Zach Rudluph (bass, toured with Christafari), J Michael (keyboard, toured with
DC Talk, Chaka Khan, and Jon Gibson) and Gootch (drums, toured with All
Together Separate, Roby Duke, Marc Ford from the Black Crowes and Ben Harper)
these artist are reminiscent of great musical predecessors such as Alicia Keys,
Angie Stone, Jill Scott and other classic Motown artists.
Rebirth's first release Episode 4 quickly sold out, making them a group
not to taken lightly. Two years in the
making, Rebirth releases their long awaited second CD Episode 5. This release transcends the first with its
soulful artistry; smooth melodies and contagious beats, creating the sound that
is Rebirth.
Episode 5 quickly reached #7 on “The Pulse” Gospel Flave Charts, October
2004 and is frequently heard in rotation on BBC 1Xtra-DJ Fritz, DJ El Nino’s
Club Charts UK, Reaction radio and K-Wave.

Samaria, and
even to the remotest part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
